NOT get a table near the front door, as it is too noisy.  Good place for a quiet, romantic dinner. (would not recommend for large groups)....

Romantic, cute, cozy.   We had the roasted beets with fennel and goat cheese salad, the pan seared snapper, and the seared beef tenderloin. DELICIOUS!   The seating is intimate and the lighting...

to speak with one of the California cuisine originals.  The ambiance is perfectly understated, good for a romantic night out or a casual dinner with friends.  The food isn't quite as on-point now...

I love this place. A bit too dark and romantic for me and my unavailable friend, but a very nice dining experience in this part of urban Silverlake. We ended up after trying to go to two other places...

me since I order the pork chops 95% of the time I go. I find that sweet.   I don't drink wine but my friends say the selection is pretty good.   Overall, this is a good place to try for yourself...
