Anyone know of a good tailor they can recommend in the San Jose, CA area? I'm specifically looking for someone that can hem jeans and do a good job of reattaching the original hem. Many thanks in advance!

Two great places. Ricardo's in sunnyvale. Does awesome work, but mostly formal stuff. Specializes in custom made suits for pro athletes. And Alterations Express in Vallco. They've done everything imaginable for me, including an awesome job on designer jeans (R&R, 7, True Religion, Diesel). They do a lot of custom wedding dresses, but they do awesome work for guys too. Turnaround time is amazing. I'm even having them custom make a set of silk drapes for my new place right now.

I'll second Khan's recommendation of Manuel's. They always do a good job and, if they're not busy, you get your stuff back within a couple days.
